Bambi Northwood-Blyth

This 20 year Old Aussie is my new Favourite! She is only 5"7 ( although her agencies like to lie and claim she is 5"9) but for a model so small she is going to be so huge! She has already appeared at Chanel, Balenciaga, a ton of shows at NYFW and she lead out all the other models at the end of the Topshop Unique show in London. Her real name is Stephanie, Bambi is her nickname to match the tattoo on the back of her wrist. It is as cute as she is!  With her statement eyebrows she stands out from the crowd, not only at Fashion Week but in many gorgeous editorials. Sure she scrubs down nicely for the Cobrasnake and Hipster stuff but she also scrubs up very well. She is not a one trick Bambi, she is a field of Bambi's! She is dating Dan Single from Ksubi (The Australian Fashion Label) which may have given her a leg up, but in all honesty I think she would have made it on her own. Her face says it all.

I just love clothes with the american flag print on them or the union jack. Seriously, why do those countries get the best flags? I don't see anyone making clothes with the New Zealand flag on it...hahaha. I have a History exam tomorrow...oh the joy but then tomorrow night it's HARRY POTTER!!! YAY I'm so excited!

Because I've been such a bad blogger, I have made this post extra long. Isn't frida so beautiful!? I just can't get over her, and I just love the picture of Zach, he's so adorable omg. I have exams next week so I'm not posting that much because I'm studying!!!

My mum is going to melbourne very soon and can't take me as my exams are at the same time so because she's feeling all guilty she said she will buy me one thing and these are what I have found. I think I'm inclining towards the Shakuhachi cullotes because they're really cute and could also be worn in winter but then I do like that blouse as I have been trying to find one like it but have been having trouble and the ksubi shorts are staples and that shakuhachi dress is so pretty, AHHH what to do.

insecurity

ksubi @ australian fashion week

I'm really tall (5'9) and quite skinny and I love to wear heels, but I have this huge insecurity now because when I wear heels, which are usually very high I might add, I am a lanky giant. I want to get past this insecurity and think stuff it, but I know that people will say things about me. Also when I do wear heels it's usually at night when I'm going out somewhere, and this makes me even more insecure as I am usually taller than the guys at parties. I would love to wear heels around town but New Zealand isn't that dressy and girls give you bitchy looks. I really just wish I lived in New York, because then I would just go crazy with my fashion and not give a fuck about what anyone thinks because I know I'd look hot hehehe.
