SOME KIND OF MAGIC

Some people say they live ordinary lives, but that's not what I see when I take photos of them.

Sometimes it feels magical when I look through my viewfinder and shoot a moment that belongs to someone else. There have been times where I've seen ordinary moments collide with perfection, and I'm lucky because I've been able to capture that. Sometimes I get so swept up, that it makes me smile for no reason...

Here are some photos I took when I was in Gisborne a few weeks ago.

Nothing beats a good walk back home. I thought this was an ordinary but special moment in disguise when this family were retreating back home from an afternoon the beach. Tired kids...

Thank you to the mini-models-in-the-making: Maia, Shea, China and Oska. Thank you to Jade, Damon, Gina and Mike for making these moments possible with the love you have created within each of your families.

My Mum was my photo assistant on the day. My chauffeur, my second set of eyes. She carried my camera bags for me too and made sure I didn't forget anything. Best Mum ever. THANKS MUM xx
