GOLF: TAKE ME TO MY HAPPY PLACE

Back in the 90s, I remember wanting to play golf because Adam Sandler made it look cool on Happy Gilmore.

Last weekend, I went out for my second game of golf and it was heaps of fun. Sunny warm weather TICK, golf cart TICK, honey roasted cashews TICK. Life is good. I took my camera out with me and took some pictures. Here are some decisions/thoughts...

One day I'm getting my own clubs.

I like driving the golf cart.

Golf is serious. Very serious.

When putting is not tricky, it's just plain frustrating. 

Favourite saying of the day: "Too much power kid!"

18 holes is groundhog day. I'm better playing 9 holes next time.

I'm so grateful for nice Auckland weather - it was a cracker of a day.

LEGS anyone?

Thanks to my husband for letting me use his driver - it is BODACIOUS and I hit some nice shots with it. Oh and thank you for being my eyes and telling me where my ball landed all those times I couldn't see it. Will wear contacts next time! xx
