Courtney Love gets to have her say on the lead roles and has already confirmed Ryan and Scarlett as her top choices. Ryan Gosling is in a band called Dead Man's Bones so his musical talent makes him a great choice. He can sing pretty well.
My initial feeling is that the film will be quite dark, depressing and sad - but it will definitely be worth a watch, especially for the acting, cinematography and music.
I wonder what the world would be like if Kurt Cobain was still alive. I loved Nirvana when I was younger and owned Nevermind on cassette. I used to play it all the time on my walkman in 4th and 5th form when I rode my bike home after school. LOL.
