JEM: POTENTIAL MOVIE?

I read an article (with zero credibility) about the possibility of a movie remake for Jem and the Holograms. According to this article, Universal and Hasbro are trying to decide between a Jem and the Holograms movie or a new series. If they know what's good for them, they'll make BOTH!

If the current wave of 80s cartoon remakes is anything to go by, I'm hopeful. We've seen Hasbro brands and cartoons like Transformers and GI Joe make it onto the big screen, which makes me wonder "what's taking them so long?"

PS: I am starting a new job on Wednesday and sadly won't have spare time to deliberate/tackle big issues like this - just letting you know it's been great while it's lasted!
