I watched a really good fashion documentary in the weekend called The Day Before. In short, it was about the busy chaos that Marc Jacobs goes through, in the build up to his Marc Jacobs and Louis Vuitton showings at Paris Fashion Week.
Marc Jacobs has a true sense of style, a great team behind him and awesome glasses. He has a great knack at morphing small fashion concepts, whipping them into reality and creating handbags that cost 35,000 Euro! Yes, EURO!
He's a "polite but aggressive" collector of art and amazingly doesn't own a house, boat or car, like you think he would. Best of all, Marc Jacobs is super down to earth. Diva? Not a jot - he shares his protein bars with his staff and was more excited when his favourite artist attended one of his shows, than the time he met Madonna.
