MILESTONE(S)

I turned 30 a few days ago. It was interesting. It was different from all my other birthdays, in a good way.

Normally, birthdays are just another day to me, but my good friend Kimberley told me that 30 was a big milestone and that I should really celebrate it!

And, so I did. I celebrated it in the most simple and rewarding way. Remembering my Mother and the simple fact that she gave birth to me 30 years ago. Telling myself I've done well so far in life. Remembering all the wonderful things I've attracted into my life. My husband. My family. Church. Everything in my path. I'm so grateful for.

I finally had the guts to launch my new photography website. I went into business the day before I turned 30 and it was more thrilling than scary, now that I've had a chance to think about it. What a huge milestone that was for me. Building my website was a labour of love and already, I see it is starting to pay off. Bookings are being made and emails are coming through. How amazing...

I've kicked into bucketlist mode - every day is so precious, so I've decided my days will be spent trying to work towards achieving everything on my bucketlist. That way I go to bed at night knowing I'm living the best life.
