I LEARNT SOMETHING FROM A UFC FIGHTER TODAY

I FEEL BAD. I used to think that UFC fighters were uncivilised meatheads with low IQ. As it turns out, I'm the meathead with the low IQ for thinking that in the first place.

Today I was watching a documentary about this UFC fighter, Jon Jones. He said something that was very relevant for me because I've been praying like mad about this all week. Here's what he said:

"For people who know what they want, the universe has a way of clearing a path for them. When you want something bad enough, it's going to happen for you. You can almost manifest your own destiny by always focusing on it. Almost like the law of attraction. If you really know what you want, the chances of you finding it are so much more strong. It's almost as if it will fall right on your lap... I know that I want to be champion."

Jon is only 23 years old - I wish I had the same way of thinking when I was his age. I was a strong pessimist growing up and the glass was ALWAYS half empty. I'm so grateful that my way of thinking has changed. I closely surround myself with positive, radiant, loving people, and I do everything to distance myself from those who aren't.

Having a testimony makes a huge difference in my life. Knowing my Heavenly Father and being able to pray to him has brought miracles into my life - maybe I was supposed to watch that documentary on TV. Thank you Heavenly Father for all the countless blessings. They are far too organised and precise to be 'just' a coincidence...
