Polyvore is a lot like playing paper dolls with pictures of real clothes. You can build a virtual wardrobe, add clothes, footwear, accessories, jewellery and cosmetics, or even build a collage for your friend with the message: "Look what I picked out for you!"
6.5 million people visit Polyvore each month to create 'collage sets' or wishlists. In some ways, I guess this virtual fantasy feeds ones shopping urge quite nicely, without having to actually spend an entire pay packet on real stuff - to get your fix, just admire the collage set that took the best part of three hours to put together!
Actually, I take that back. I've just realised it could dangerously swing the other way, and you might just end up buying what you've fallen in love with. I see you can shop straight from their website and buy thousands of brands from retailers everywhere...
