A FASHION SHOW: IT IS ART INDEED

If you've ever been involved in any kind of fashion week, you'll appreciate that it's living ART and you may even enjoy the varying degrees of craziness that evolve.

Backstage madness is one thing: the sound of several hairdryers in operation at once, yelling over top of hairdryers, the smell of hairspray, models who all start looking the same. And then watching multiple outfit changes take place - pairs of long arms both stationed awkwardly in the air, while trying to fit an unforgivingly tight dress over the head without damaging hair and make up is indeed a struggle, but it is still art in itself.

I like the contrast of calm when the audience is seated and silent. The first note of music hits and then within seconds of the first model walking out, the sound of camera shutters go crazy berserk. Then BANG. The runway comes alive with a sea of beautiful clothes, fabrics and colours.

It is art and everyone who knows this, knows this without a doubt.
